Workshops: Dinosaurs & Fossils

Our fabulously interactive Dinosaur & Fossil day is jam-packed with pre-historic learning!

Session 1 – The Dinosaurs are Dawning

Our opening session sees your children dressing up in various dinosaur costumes as we take a whistle stop tour through the chronology of the dinosaurs!

Session 2 – Prehistoric Predators

Through fun and informative gameplay, we act out how different dinosaurs hunted and the techniques they used to successfully catch their food.

Session 3 – Prolific Palaeontologists

One of our signature, action packed round robin sessions – your children will become budding Palaeontologists as they tackle a range of activities from fossil discovery and formation to dinosaur identification and much more!

Session 4 – Dinosaur Differences

This session  focuses on Dinosaurs in all their weird and wonderful shapes, sizes and colours as we have a go at 6 activities based around identification and comparison, dinosaur colours, tracks and more.

Session 5 – Destruction of the Dinosaurs

Our signature finale session sees everyone get involved in acting out the extinction of the dinosaurs including tidal waves, meteors, erupting volcanoes and more!

"We had the most amazing experience with The Past Presents delivering an Ancient Egyptians workshop. The children loved every minute of it and they were all engaged from the minute you arrived to the very end. The tasks were fantastic and brought the whole topic to life for them. The mummification was by far their favourite and most memorable. The closing ceremony for the day was incredible and brought all of their learning to an end in a brilliant way.
